The Opportunity
  • Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
  • One (1) year of previous ED/UCC experience preferred.
  • New grads welcome to apply.
  • Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required.
  • Current IL state license is a plus.

The Practice

Gottlieb Memorial Hospital - Melrose Park, Illinois
  • A small community ER with the support of a large academic center.
  • Level II Trauma Center and STEMI Receiving Center.
  • 260-bed facility with 17 monitored ED beds and 4 rapid evaluation chairs.
  • Patient population includes a good mix of geriatrics and PEDS with a large Hispanic population.
  • Annual volume of 28,000 with a 20-25% admit rate.
  • Epic EMR with Dragon dictation; 24-hour intensivist available in the ED.
