Faculty Positions in Anesthesiology
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) is seeking to fill full-time faculty positions in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine to work at the MFA, an independent, non-profit clinical practice group and/or the Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, which serves the District’s population, mainly in Wards 7 and 8.
Responsibilities include delivering excellent patient care, participating in administrative duties, teaching learners, and pursuing scholarly interests. Those with subspecialty expertise and/or fellowship training are invited to apply.
Regular and limited service faculty appointments to these non-tenure track academic and community-based positions will be made at an academic rank (instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, full professor) and salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $440,000 to $550,000. The MFA also provides generous health and other benefits, details of which can be found at https://careers.gwdocs.com/benefits. These positions are expected to begin as early as Spring 2025.
Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be board certified in Anesthesiology, or in the certification process and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment.
Application Procedure: To be considered, please complete the online faculty application at https://www.gwu.jobs/postings/116183 and upload a CV and cover letter. You will also be asked to provide the names and contact information of three references. Only complete applications will be considered. Review of applications will begin on January 2, 2025, and will continue until the position is filled. Employment offers are contingent on the satisfactory outcome of a standard background screening.
