The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and the Physician's Assistant (PA-C) in Primary Care / Internal Medicine provide adult patients with comprehensive primary medical care and preventive healthcare services. They function in one or more Concord Hospital Medical Group (CHMG) settings, including, but not limited to, the office.

Education

Completion of Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician's Assistant.

Certification, Registration & Licensure

Licensure required: NH License as APRN or Physician's Assistant

Current DEA License

Experience

APRN/PA-C experience required.

Responsibilities
  • Obtains patient health history, performs physical examination, and develops a relevant differential diagnosis.
  • Orders, interprets, and follows up on diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnosing acute and chronic medical problems within the scope of practice or formulating a comprehensive differential diagnosis.
  • Prescribes and manages medications within the practice standards.
  • Provides individualized patient education related to preventive care according to guidelines.
  • Meets productivity standard of the practice/department.
  • Documents care provided in the medical record according to department standards.
