Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to women throughout their life stages, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
 

Responsibilities

• Perform routine gynecological examinations and prenatal check-ups.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status and needs.
• Manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring the safety of both mother and child.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with specialists in areas such as maternal fetal medicine, general surgery, and gastroenterology for comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Participate in medical-surgical procedures as needed.
• On-Call one weekend per month
   

Skills

• Strong proficiency in patient assessment and clinical evaluation techniques.
• Knowledge of medical imaging technologies relevant to obstetrics and gynecology.
• Familiarity with emergency room (ER) protocols and procedures.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Ability to perform medical-surgical procedures competently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
   

Qualified Candidate

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN must have a South Carolina License or the ability to get a South Carolina license prior to starting.
