Advance Your Surgical Career with Moffitt Cancer Center’s Reconstructive Oncology Microsurgery Fellowship

 

Moffitt Cancer Center is pleased to announce an opening for one (1) position in our Reconstructive Oncology Microsurgery Fellowship starting on July 1, 2025. This non-accredited 12-month fellowship program is designed to provide advanced training for plastic surgeons in microvascular reconstructive surgery, focusing on oncology patients.

Program Overview:

  • Specialized Training: Gain expertise in microsurgical techniques for breast and sarcoma reconstruction, including DIEP, LAP, PAP, and TUG flaps.
  • Hands-On Experience: Participate in at least 100 free tissue transfers and many other complex non-microsurgical reconstructions.
  • Comprehensive Care: Involve in preoperative evaluation, operative procedures, and postoperative management, with opportunities for research in oncologic surgery.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Completion of an ACGME-approved plastic surgery residency
  • Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery
  • U.S. citizenship or appropriate visa status
