Moffitt Cancer Center is pleased to announce an opening for one (1) position in our Reconstructive Oncology Microsurgery Fellowship starting on July 1, 2025. This non-accredited 12-month fellowship program is designed to provide advanced training for plastic surgeons in microvascular reconstructive surgery, focusing on oncology patients.
Program Overview:
- Specialized Training: Gain expertise in microsurgical techniques for breast and sarcoma reconstruction, including DIEP, LAP, PAP, and TUG flaps.
- Hands-On Experience: Participate in at least 100 free tissue transfers and many other complex non-microsurgical reconstructions.
- Comprehensive Care: Involve in preoperative evaluation, operative procedures, and postoperative management, with opportunities for research in oncologic surgery.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Completion of an ACGME-approved plastic surgery residency
- Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery
- U.S. citizenship or appropriate visa status
