Concord Surgical Associates is seeking a board-eligible/certified General Surgeon interested in joining a collegial group of general surgeons with the support of advanced providers. Our program supports a regional medical center in the capital city of New Hampshire, serving multiple communities in a wide radius with ACS Level II trauma designation. We have five designated ACS/Trauma surgeons and three full-time elective general surgeons. We are interested in building our elective practice. This exciting opportunity would allow you to be integral to our highly diverse and successful program. This position is for you if you want to practice community-based elective general surgery.

Requirements

  • BE/BC in General Surgery
  • Ability to obtain NH state professional licensing
  • Laparoscopic and robotic skills are desirable
  • All partners participate in call coverage of the ACS/Trauma service


Physical Demands and Work Environment Requirements

The Dictionary of Occupational Titles Material Handling Classification is LIGHT. The employee must regularly lift, carry, or push/pull less than 10 pounds, frequently lift, carry, or push/pull up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift, carry, or push/pull up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception, far vision, near vision, and peripheral vision.

The employee is frequently exposed to airborne pathogens, bloodborne pathogens, and bodily fluids. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne contaminants, radiation, chemotherapeutic agents, toxic or caustic chemicals, and electrical hazards, such as shock, non-weather related heat or cold, variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and slippery surfaces.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
