Summary
The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and the Physician's Assistant provide medical care to patients throughout the lifespan in the Emergency Department. Patient care is provided in collaboration with a CHMG physician.
Education
Completion of Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician's Assistant.
Certification, Registration & Licensure
Licensure required: NH License as APRN or Physician's Assistant, Current DEA License
Experience
Prior Emergency Medicine provider experience preferred.

- Obtains patient health history and performs physical examination.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
- Diagnoses acute and chronic medical problems within the scope of practice.
- Prescribes and manages medications within the practice standards.
- Provides preventive care, screenings and patient education according to guidelines.
- Meets productivity standard of the practice/department.
- Documents care provided in the medical record according to practice/department standards.
