Inova Children’s Multispecialty Clinic is looking for a dedicated Pediatric Endocrinologist to join the team. This role will be full-time. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

To meet the needs of the region’s children and provide seamless, high quality, comprehensive pediatric care close to home for the children & families of Northern Virginia, Inova Children’s Service Line has recently enlarged its ambulatory network of subspecialists. We are seeking a qualified physician to join our rapidly growing team of pediatric specialists as part of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology.

Our state-of-the-art Pediatric Multispecialty Ambulatory Practice at Willow Oaks is home to thirteen pediatric specialties, with an additional six specialties ramping up in the next 12-18 months. This practice is across the street from Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital, a 226-bed children’s hospital at Inova Fairfax Hospital medical campus, located in Northern Virginia. Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital is the only dedicated children’s hospital in Northern Virginia. Responsibilities and Practice Details:

• Division includes six physicians, two advanced practice providers, a psychology service and team of diabetes educators
• Home to programs caring for children with diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth concerns, puberty concerns, multi-disciplinary programs caring for children with cystic fibrosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and gender diverse care (PRIDE Clinic)
• Endocrinology patients seen in Fairfax, Virginia (proximity to Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital/Inova Fairfax Hospital), Ashburn, Virginia and via telemedicine.
• Inpatient care centralized to Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital
• Providing inpatient consult services 8-9 weeks per year
• Supports learners as part of Inova Fairfax Pediatric Residency Program
• Faculty appointment opportunity at University of Virginia Medical School Inova Campus
• Sharing call with the other physicians, supported by a robust triage system

Additional Requirements:

• Licensure - Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
• Experience - Successful completion of physician residency program
• Education - Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution
• Certification: Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
