Division Chief of Gastroenterology

The San Fernando Valley Cancer Center is seeking a distinguished and highly qualified physician to lead our Gastroenterology Division as Division Chief. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in gastroenterology, with a subspecialty interest in oncology, and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide visionary leadership and direction to the Gastroenterology Division.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care, integrating gastroenterology and oncology expertise.
• Oversee clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Contribute to ongoing clinical research, including participation in national clinical trials and drug development.

Qualifications :

• Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.
• Strong clinical expertise, with an emphasis on gastrointestinal oncology.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience :

• Prior experience as a Division Chief or in a similar leadership role within an academic or clinical setting.
• Prior involvement in research and publications in the field of gastroenterology and/or oncology.
