The Opportunity
  • Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Critical Care physicians.
  • Current GA state license is a plus.
  • Visa candidates are NOT eligible for this role.
  • Must be comfortable with tracheostomy.

The Practice

Emory Long-Term Acute Care - Decatur, Georgia
  • 50 beds total beds with 10 high-acuity beds, and an average patient stay of 20-30 days.
  • On average, Emory treats 30-40 patients at a time, maintain a low patient-to-nurse ratio.
  • On-site pharmacy.
  • Services offered include pulmonary/vent weaning service, rehabilitation services, pain management, remote telemetry, and wound care services.
  • The only LTAC in the nation with all three of these Joint Commission Gold Seal Certifications: Respiratory Failure, Wound Care, and Acquired Brain Injury.
