Position Description:

Penn Medicine Princeton Health seeks a Gastroenterologist to join their well-established and busy GI practice. The group is part of the Princeton Center for Digestive Health which offers comprehensive gastrointestinal healthcare services, including advanced diagnostics, endoscopic therapies and advanced minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. The practice is proud to promote a patient-centric culture, comprehensive approach to individualized patient care, and a positive work environment for the physicians and staff.

The practice currently consists of nine physicians and three APN's. The providers practice general gastroenterology and each also have a special niche interest. Two physicians perform advanced endoscopic procedures. The position is a mix of inpatient and outpatient work, and the physicians are included in a large coverage pool that provides a very provider-friendly call schedule. In addition, there is an option to work with internal medicine residents and medical students, and apply for an academic appointment at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The main ambulatory practice location will on Princeton Medical's campus in Plainsboro, NJ, with a couple sessions spent at another local community practice each week. Endoscopies are performed at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, a beautiful 231 bed state of the art hospital that is connected to the ambulatory practices. Penn Medicine Princeton Medical is equipped with state-of-the-art endoscopy suites, which include 190 Olympus scopes. There is an opportunity to perform advanced endoscopic procedures for those who are interested.

Minimum Requirements:

Board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology.
