The Wayne State University School of Medicine (WSU SOM) Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology has an opening for Assistant or Associate Professor. This is a General Gastroenterology position with available opportunity for advanced procedures (ERCP, EUS) but not required. An interest in women's Gastrointestinal health and diseases, or IBD is highly desirable. One of the highest Competitive compensations for Academic Gastroenterology in the region, with full benefits, The Gastroenterology program is a collaborative effort between WSU SOM and the Wayne Health (WH) faculty practice. As a member of WH and WSU, the physician's responsibilities include clinical service, teaching medical students, residents and fellows, participation in research and scholarly activities and other administrative duties as assigned.
