Primary Care Physician
Job Summary:
Northwest Medical Center is seeking a skilled, experienced, and compassionate Primary Care Physician. This job opportunity is for an established practice that has been open for over 13 years. The previous physician is retiring and will be transitioning all existing and new patient care. The Primary Care Physician, will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients. He/she will serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking medical attention and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses as well as preventive care and health maintenance.
What we offer:

Compensation:
- $240,000 per year (base salary plus monthly productivity bonus) Year end profit sharing bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations. Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, injuries, and infections frequently seen in a primary care practice. Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists when necessary. Educate patients about preventative care measures, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices. Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing lacerations and removing skin lesions. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities to stay abreast of the latest developments in primary care medicine. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice and patient confidentiality. Comply with all Washington State licensing requirements.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school. Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Washington Unrestricted DEA and NPI Ability to be credentialed under with all major insurances as well as Medicare Proficient in use of the EMR Strong clinical skills and ability to make evidence-based medical decisions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
