Three days a week with no call responsibilities

Summary

Responsible for the clinical assessment and outpatient treatment of patients seeking mental health treatment. Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.

Education

Five to six years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Master's Degree or five-year program in a mental health discipline).

Certification, Registration & Licensure

Licensure required to obtain: Must be license eligible. Licensed by the state of New Hampshire to perform mental health practice within two years of hire date.

Experience

At least two years of practicing mental health counseling is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Conducts bio-psycho-social mental health assessments of patients and develops patient-centered treatment plans.
  • Administers direct patient care.
  • Participates in the education and training of Behavioral Health Interns and Family Medicine Residents.
  • Documents care provided according to Medicare and other compliance standards, as well as CHMG and practice standards.
  • Monitors schedules to maximize patient access.
