MGH Sleep Medicine SEARCH
The Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a board-certified / board-eligible Sleep Medicine physician to join our Sleep Medicine Unit. Sleep Medicine at MGH is a multidisciplinary program based in Neurology. We have a busy outpatient practice and several subspecialty clinical programs. Our 8-bed Sleep Laboratory, accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, offers comprehensive sleep diagnostic services, including home sleep apnea testing. With our Sleep Medicine colleagues from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, we offer an ACGME-accredited fellowship training program in Sleep Medicine. Our research, fueled by multidisciplinary projects supported by NIH and foundations, centers on movement disorders of sleep, sleep dysregulation in neurodegenerative disorders, REM Sleep Behavior Disorder, and circadian disorders.
The successful candidate will have an active practice, with clinical effort at MGH and MGH West in Waltham, MA. The candidate will have opportunities to participate in clinical research and education of residents and fellows in Sleep Medicine. Appointment as an Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, along with a corresponding hospital appointment, will be considered commensurate with experience, training, and achievements. In addition, it is expected that the candidate will engage in teaching in the Harvard community with a minimum of 50 hours required per year. Suitable candidates will have an MD, DO, or MD, PhD, and be Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neurology, Psychiatry, or Medicine, as well as have completed at least one year of fellowship training in Sleep Medicine.
