ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Gastroenterology - Washington are seeking a board eligible or board certified Gastroenterologist to join their established gastroenterology practice located in Washington, North Carolina.

  • Employment by ECU Health Physicians-Community Practice Model Privileges at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center Growing 9-hospital physician-led private not for profit healthcare system Opportunity available due to retirement Established practice with 1 experienced gastroenterologists and 2 Advanced Practice Providers Procedures will include general GI and advanced endoscopy cases (ERCP preferred-EUS optional) Experienced Advanced practice providers manage outpatient clinic flow Endoscopy suite located at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital Inpatient support by an experienced hospitalist team- GI team is a consult only service, no direct admitting responsibilities Call: 10 days per month-no weekend or holiday call Teaching opportunities are available in conjunction with the Brody School of Medicine in nearby Greenville, NC for the instruction of medical students, residents and GI fellows Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefit package to include: guaranteed base salary, potential bonus structure, annual stipend, relocation assistance, vacation, sick, holidays, malpractice (with tail), 401k, 457b, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington, NC is a 142-bed full-service hospital with an active medical staff of more than 50 physicians representing 20+ specialties, as well as more than 600 nurses, technicians and support staff. The hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women's services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. ECU Health Beaufort also features the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.
