Summary

The Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provide urgent and emergent medical care services to patients throughout the lifespan. Functions in Emergency Department and urgent care settings of Concord Hospital as well as the clinical decision unit. Patient care is provided under the supervision of a CHMG physician for the Physician Assistant, and in collaboration with a CHMG physician for the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.

Education

Completion of Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant.

Certification, Registration & Licensure

Licensure required: NH License as APRN or Physician Assistant, Current DEA License

Experience

Prior Provider Experience is required

Responsibilities
  • Obtains patient health history and performs physical examination.
  • Diagnoses acute and chronic medical problems within the scope of practice.
  • Practiced-Based Learning and Improvement
