Faculty/Administrative positions:
The College of Optometry is seeking applicants for tenure track, and non-tenure track, full-time faculty positions with potential administrative responsibilities. Candidates should have a passion for excellence in teaching, scholarship, service, leadership, and patient care.
Candidates with interest, experience, and expertise in the following areas are highly desired:
- Basic and Biomedical Sciences, such as: Anatomy, Physiology, Vision Science, Immunology, Body Systems, and Nutrition
- Clinical Patient Care
- Administrative Responsibilities based on experience and expertise
Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and expectations of future accomplishments. Salary and benefits are competitive. Requirements include attainment of the Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree or an international equivalent. ODs with additional credentials are strongly preferred, such as: PhD or other doctoral degree, master's degree, and LPSE certification.
