Critical Care Anesthesiologist

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking highly qualified critical care anesthesiologists interested in joining the Division of Critical Care as part of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. The Critical Care Division is made up of over 50 anesthesia intensivists as part of the larger Department of over 180 anesthesiologists.  Anesthesia critical care intensivists practice in a care team model as part of a large critical care and anesthesiology practice. The position will include an academic appointment to the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Our practice is focused on growth in all areas of surgical critical care to include general and specialty surgery (ENT, urology, vascular surgery) and cardiac surgery to include mechanical support.  More recently we are seeing practice expansion in the virtual acute care space and those anesthesia intensivists with an interest or experience in this area should inquire.

License or Certification:

Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Anesthesiology and Critical Care and have an interest in joining a high-volume practice.  We seek candidates with a strong clinical focus who have an interest in teaching as well as clinical research.
