We are actively recruiting for a combined Academic Genomic Medicine Pathologist to join our collegial, dynamic faculty. Sub-specialty training in Hematopathology is also preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Genomic Medicine services for patient care in solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and germline testing.
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic Hematopathology services, including histopathology and flow cytometry.
- Clinical service will be approximately 75% effort in Genomic Medicine and 25% effort in Hematopathology.
- Collaborative participation in multidisciplinary patient care.
- Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in pathology and laboratory medicine.
- Engage in scholarly activities aligned with your interests and expertise.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- American Board of Pathology certification in Anatomic Pathology
- American Board of Pathology certification or eligibility in Molecular Genetic Pathology
- American Board of Pathology certification or eligibility in Hematopathology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility in patient care and scheduling
- Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical informatics is a plus
