The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is recruiting an academic Anesthesiologist to serve as the Department’s Associate Vice Chair for Clinical Research. In line with our commitment to support early career stage investigators, individuals with an emerging track record of research publications and/or early career grant funding, including FAER-MRTG, K-awards, and alike are especially encouraged to apply. The position includes significant non-clinical time, a start-up package, and an endowment that is designed to provide appropriate resources to accelerate the individual’s success and ensure the programmatic growth of our Research Division, which conducts high-impact federally funded research across the translational spectrum.

Our department is comprised of 90 clinical faculty, 60 CRNA’s and 55 residents and fellows. General anesthesiologists and sub-specialty anesthesiologists are encouraged to apply.
