Job Description
Inova Health System Department of Orthopedic Surgery is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified (or eligible) Joint Replacement surgeon to join our team for a full-time position in our Springfield/Fairfax Locations.

Inova Orthopedic Services leads the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC metro area in helping people with arthritis, orthopedic illness, trauma or injury to regain their active lifestyles. Our Ortho specialties include groundbreaking, minimally invasive procedures to treat musculoskeletal diseases and injuries, including state-of-the-art joint replacement.
The Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine has 22 physicians, 7 office locations, outpatient surgery centers and co-located therapy clinics and supports Inova’s five hospitals and large breadth of emergency and urgent care centers, outpatient services and destination institutes.
This opportunity requires Fellowship training and the position provides an opportunity to grow a robust Joint Replacement practice in a complex and growing Health System.
Joint Replacement surgeons joining the Department must have an active interest in collaborative diagnosis and treatment of Joint-related disorders in the context of a multi-disciplinary Department and complex Health System. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians, and administration.
Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible. Competitive salary and benefit package offered.
