A full-time faculty position is available at the level of Assistant Professor in the Section of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine. Applicants should have an M.D., completed fellowship training in infectious diseases, have interest and experience in addiction medicine and have exceptional potential for a career in academic medicine. Candidates are expected to (a) participate in extramurally funded research program with plans to develop own independent extramurally funded research program and (b) participate in the clinical and educational activities of the section including providing care on a mobile health unit in rural Connecticut providing infectious disease with specific emphasis on HIV prevention and treatment plus addiction medicine care.
