Full-time Staff Anesthesiologist positions are available at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and our network of community sites within the Beth Israel Lahey Health system.

More than 40,000+ cases per year are performed at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) including neurosurgery, major vascular, thoracic, cardiac, solid organ transplant, ambulatory, obstetric anesthesia, critical care and pain medicine. We have a top-ranked resident training program with opportunities available to participate in multiple education programs and initiatives. There are also opportunities to collaborate in our ongoing basic, translational and clinical research programs with potential start-up funds available.

BIDMC, located in the Longwood Medical Area of Boston, is affiliated with Harvard Medical School (HMS). Academic appointment as Lecturer, Instructor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor would be commensurate with academic accomplishments for those who meet HMS teaching requirements.

Our community sites offer physicians the unique opportunity of working at different locations throughout Eastern Massachusetts as part of the Associated Physicians of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (APHMFP) group. Through this large and diverse network of sites, physicians are able to provide care ranging from complex regional to cardiac to general anesthesia. Our community sites are also able to provide more flexibility for physicians at various phases of their careers and can accommodate changing interests or needs.

All of our positions offer exceptional compensation and benefits packages through Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) and Associated Physicians of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (APHMFP).

Interested candidates should reach out to Rosanna Kelleher at rkelleh2@bidmc.harvard.edu and submit a letter of interest, CV and three letters of recommendation.
