CLINICAL CHEMISTRY LABORATORY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN
UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT

 

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont (UVM) seeks a clinical pathologist with a focus in Clinical Chemistry. This is a full-time position with a faculty appointment on the Clinical Scholar Pathway (non- tenure) at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will work in the Division of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center and join our current faculty in the section of Clinical Chemistry. The applicant must be a physician (M.D. or D.O.) who is board certified/board eligible in Clinical Pathology and is either board eligible/certified or has at least 3 years of experience in Clinical Chemistry. The candidate should be an enthusiastic teacher who will provide education to medical students, residents, and clinicians. The candidate is expected to pursue scholarly activities and/or clinical research and should provide a description of their academic work and future plans in their cover letter. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine provides academic effort for an initial three years, allowing our new faculty to develop scholarly and educational activities aligned with their interests.
