Pediatric Endocrinologist : Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital
To meet the needs of the region’s children and provide seamless, high quality, comprehensive pediatric care close to home for the children & families of Northern Virginia, Inova Children’s Service Line has recently enlarged its ambulatory network of subspecialists. We are seeking a qualified physician to join our rapidly-growing team of pediatric specialists as part of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology.

Our state-of-the-art Pediatric Multispecialty Ambulatory Practice at Willow Oaks is home to thirteen pediatric specialties, with an additional six specialties ramping up in the next 12-18 months. This practice is across the street from Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital, a 226-bed children’s hospital at Inova Fairfax Hospital medical campus, located in Northern Virginia. Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital is the only dedicated children’s hospital in Northern Virginia. We are seeking a qualified physician to join our rapidly-growing team of pediatric specialists as part of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology.
Responsibilities and Practice Details:
- Division includes six physicians, two advanced practice providers, a psychology service and team of diabetes educators
- Home to programs caring for children with diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth concerns, puberty concerns, multi-disciplinary programs caring for children with cystic fibrosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and gender diverse care (PRIDE Clinic)
- Endocrinology patients seen in Fairfax, Virginia (proximity to Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital/Inova Fairfax Hospital), Ashburn, Virginia and via telemedicine.
- Inpatient care centralized to Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital
- Providing inpatient consult services 8-9 weeks per year
- Supports learners as part of Inova Fairfax Pediatric Residency Program
- Faculty appointment opportunity at University of Virginia Medical School Inova Campus
- Sharing call with the other physicians, supported by a robust triage system

Requirements:
