Complex Family Planning Subspecialist

The Yale School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, Section of Complex Family Planning is recruiting a Complex Family Planning subspecialist at the faculty rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This is a full-time position with responsibilities in clinical care and education. Clinical responsibilities will include staffing complex family planning clinics and operating room procedures. Educational responsibilities will include family planning didactics for the medical students, residents, and fellows. The faculty member will also have a portion of clinical time devoted to general gynecology or obstetrical care. The position includes the role of either Complex Family Planning Fellowship Associate Program Director or Program Director, depending upon qualifications and experience.

We seek a highly self-motivated individual with a compassionate clinical approach, excellent interpersonal skills, a demonstrated interest in education at the medical student, resident, and fellowship level, interest in conducting research or other scholarly activities, and a commitment to advancing health equity.

Qualifications:

MD or equivalent.

Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Completion of a Complex Family Planning Fellowship. New fellowship graduates or second-year fellows seeking employment opportunity after graduation are encouraged to apply.

Board Certified or Eligible in Complex Family Planning.

CT Physician License or Eligible for CT Physician License.
