Faculty Position in Anatomic Pathology/Rank DOQ

The Department of Pathology and Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) invites application for a board certified cytopathologist who enjoys teaching, interactions with clinicians and cytotechnologists, and is adept at rapid on site evaluation using telecytology. We are a subspecialized group of 20 Anatomic Pathologists with most faculty covering one service line, but some covering two service lines. If the candidate has additional expertise (or interest) in lung, ENT, or cardiovascular pathology that would be ideal. In addition to our University Hospital based services, we have a large outreach program and receive over half of our cases from surrounding areas, leading to a diverse specimen mix. Rank will be based on experience and qualifications – we welcome anyone from asst to full professor and individuals from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Our compensation packages are highly competitive and the working environment is collegial and dynamic. For additional information, please contact Dr. Joseph D. Khoury, Professor and Chair, Department of Pathology and Microbiology by clicking here. Please include in the subject line Cytopathology Application. Interested candidates should submit a summary of their interests, CV and other documentation online through this link at https://unmc.peopleadmin.com/postings/75856
